Our vision is to be the place where every work of the church is instigated, funded, staffed, and to tell the better story of that great work, for the good of the world and the Glory of God. Our mission is to see our suburbs reached with the gospel but beyond that, see the church globally consolidate and dial up its already incredible efforts to solve some of the biggest problems facing the world right now.

We believe this matters now more than ever, as we face one of the worst recessions, on the back of riots on the back of horrible racism, on the back of a global pandemic, on the back of bushfires. We believe this matters in a world that is literally and figuratively on fire. We know historically, that in times like these, the church has stepped up to meet the need. When we are in the status quo, the average Christian gives 4-5 times more than the next most generous people group. In times of dire need however, Christians give from 20-30% more even up to their own lives. The challenges we face are solvable and must be met by the church local and global, and we are here to help.

The challenges we face are solvable and must be met by the church local and global

We believe that there is a version of this world where history will reflect a moment when everything changed. A version of history where we look back in 20 years, 30 years time and wonder how we ever let children starve, die of preventable diseases, never be educated and get sold into slavery to cover their family debts of $100 or less. We, the church, will wonder in that

future and it will baffle us that it ever even existed at all.  We believe in a future where hope and faith and love, are the things that remain. We believe that in this future, the local church is deeply connected to the global church, local projects are decisively executed along side global projects and the poorest 3 billion live life as fully and freely as that which we take for granted.

We see a world that will be utterly transformed through the gospel by a generation who said “enough, this will not stand."

We see a near future where the church is able to declare “we solved drinking water, what’s next? We solved children dying from preventable disease, what’s next”? We see a world that will be utterly transformed through the gospel by a generation who said “enough, this will not stand. I will seek the welfare and salvation of my neighbour both physical and eternal just as I seek my own”. We believe that in this future, missionaries are being sent, the church is innovating and being built, church plants are thriving, organisations are working together and it will be the church and the church alone who will be able to say, “We stood together and by the grace of God, we changed the world”. We believe that this is our work, our story, and yours, from your suburb all the way to the ends of the earth. The only thing that future is waiting on is you. Start something that changes everything.

King and Crown exists to build the tools that will allow the church to fund, collaborate and staff projects of the church of every size, and to tell the story of that work. Whether that’s through crowd funding, starting digital banking for the third world or pioneering other tools, our end goal is to change the world for the better. While we believe making a profit matters, this matters to the extent that the profit funds the work that we can accomplish in serving the church and making much of Jesus. We measure success here then, not by the bags of money we can fill, but by the number of lives transformed by the gospel centred work done.

We exist to help the church tell a better story

We exist to help the church tell a better story, and we believe that matters now more than ever. It’s time for you to write your chapter.
